The International Cat Show Portland is produced by TNCC. New this year, in 2019, the International Cat Show is moving to a new location at the Portland Expo Center. The show has grown considerably over the past few years, and a new and larger venue has been sought.
The International Cat Show Portland was founded in 1997 and is an all volunteer cat club, affiliated with TICA, The International Cat Association. Club members live in all parts of the Pacific Northwest, and for the past 13 years have produced this show as a benefit for the Oregon Food Bank, and several cat rescue groups. Over the years the International Cat Show has donated thousands of pounds of canned food to the Oregon Food Bank.
TICA is the world’s largest genetic registry of pedigreed and household pet cats, the first registry to allow household cats of unknown ancestry to compete for the same titles and awards as pedigreed cats. TICA administers the rules and licensing of hundreds of cat shows annually across the globe.
